River Stones
Somewhere there is a world
where we sat down on the bank
to watch the water go by
the sun, wind, and rain
played across our faces
we were so still and quiet
the heron landed on my shoulder
and the deer ate from your hand
moss made itself at home
we just stayed
two stones by the river
